Design Partnership Supporting Diverse Teams
As a primary preferred freelancer with Virginia Tech University, Emily assists many teams across a broad spectrum of programs support by Tech. Working with each team she follows strict branding guidelines from the University and ensure documents are 508 compliant.
VT’s Continuing and Professional Education team frequently requests Emily’s assistance with their program materials. Some are recurring events, other projects are for single events.
The new Innovation Campus team has requested Emily’s support to help promote new programs to the Northern Virginia community. The teams come with set branding guidelines from VT which Emily uses to design the new materials. Some teams request documents be created in Canva so staff can iterate in future.
VAST (Virginia Alliance For Semiconductor Technology) marketing team worked with Emily to design new materials and update old materials created by staff for a more professional look. VAST’s materials needed to work for students, funders, and partners while being nimble for quick updates.
