Supporting Free Expression Online
The Oversight Board promotes free expression by making principled, independent decisions regarding content on Facebook and Instagram and by issuing recommendations on the relevant Meta company content policy. Emily has designed their annual report for the past two years; the reports set the stage to explain the Board’s process, decisions, and recommendations within a data framework. Emily designed the report in English, reformatted the report in 6 languages (Arabic, Chinese, Russian, French, Spanish, and Hindi), managed printing, and created 508 compliant PDFs for online distribution.
